Course overview

The course is focused on giving realistic and effective recommendations for the sections of the examination, adapted to the new requirements: planning, theoretical topics and practical cases.

Contents of the course

Section 1: Theoretical topics

The topics are approached from a general perspective, dividing the 69 topics into different blocks, so the trainees have a good basis to answer any of them. The trainers will present one or two topics from each of the blocks as a template. The presented topics will be the ones that can provide a good basis to answer any of the other topics in the block. An extended written syllabus will not be provided, but templates and tips will be shared to help course participants develop their own comprehensive syllabus and study resources.

section 2: Practical cases

The trainers will share practical ideas and strategies on how to approach this part of the exam. In this section, trainees will be able to put together everything they have learnt about gender perspective, inclusion and competency-based design and assessment, to be able to develop this second part of the exam like a real pro.

section 3: TEACHING SYLLABUS & ORAL Defence

In this section, the trainers will provide the learners with ideas and recommendations on how to create Learning Situations according to the new Decree. Course participants will learn about competency-based design and assessment, so they can apply that to their syllabi. Apart from being given periodic feedback, the trainees will have the opportunity to discuss their own didactic plan with APAC trainers in short one-on-one private tuitions.
